For MVS Swing Lid VacSmart Series (with touch screen display)
This is normal setup where the motor/pump starts immediately after switching on power while booting up the electronics. It will run continuously until the power is properly shut down
This is to minimize the stress on the motor-to-pump coupling and also to control motor power surge.
For MVS Floor Models VacSmart Series 208V-3Ph and 220V-1Ph (with touch screen display)
This is normal setup where the motor/pump starts immediately after switching on power while booting up the electronics. It will run continuously until the power is properly shut down

For MVS Table Top VacSmart Series 120V-1Ph (with touch screen display)
Pump SHOULD NOT be running at all upon switching on the power except when the pump WARM UP feature is turned on previously in the general settings. The pump started immediately because the software activated the "vacuum valve" function that was intended only for the floor VacSmart models and swing lid VacSmart models (see above 2 sections).
The "vacuum valve" function can be activated in-directly when the machine is not shut down accordingly (like repeatedly turning off the main power switch while the display is in the ready mode or at the end of the last cycle) or a power surge while the software is "saving data".
Please see attachment on how to de-activate the "vacuum valve" function.
NOTE 1. If the problem repeated itself, then the software that is on the SD card is compromised. The SD card need to be replaced.
NOTE 2. It is very important to power down the VacSmart machine properly by using the red power button/icon on the display, confirming the shutdown, waiting the screen to go dark, and after 30 second turning off the main power switch. This will ensure the all the data is saved properly my the micro computer inside the machine.
