Machine Prep for Storage
- Power on and run the machine five times to circulate the existing oil in the pump.
- Power off the machine, drain the oil and discard accordingly.
- Fill the pump with flushing/conditioning oil to proper amount (midway of the sight glass).
- For MVS 26 Series and MVS 31X with 8 "standard" programs plus P9 external program, follow step below, otherwise go to step 5.
- Power on, change to program P9, close the lid and press green START button to start the pump to dilute the contaminants inside the reservoir and the pump. When cycle ends, repeat 9 more times. (NOTE. Repetitions will heat up the flushing oil to dilute the contaminants).
- For MVS 31X with 5 "standard" programs and 5 "special" programs including program Sr1, then follow the step below
- Power on, change to program Sr1, close the lid and press green START button to start the pump to dilute the contaminants inside the reservoir and the pump. When cycle ends, repeat 2 more times. (NOTE. Repetitions will heat up the flushing oil to dilute the contaminants).
- Power off the machine, drain the oil and discard accordingly. (NOTE. Flushing process may need to be repeated depending on the severity of the contaminants. Flushing oil should almost be clear of contaminant when drained).
- NOTE. Recommended to replace the exhaust filter.
- Fill the pump with the vacuum pump oil to proper amount (midway of the sight glass).
- Power on and run the machine three times and power off machine
- The machine is ready for storage.
